Orthodontic Assistant

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant.

About Us:

We are a locally owned and operated pediatric dental and orthodontic practice. We have been providing outstanding dental care to our patients for over six years. We have five, beautiful, modern offices throughout the Charleston area. We have a wonderful patient population, a caring and enthusiastic team, and sincere dentists and orthodontists who are dedicated to providing quality care.

We are looking for a dedicated team member to join us in our mission of creating an exciting, professional, and caring environment that allows us to provide the highest quality dentistry to children of the Lowcountry.


  • Assisting the Orthodontist with conducting clinical exams and updating patient charts in the applicable systems.
  • Taking X-rays.
  • Placing and performing adjustments on orthodontic appliances.
  • Taking impressions and completing diagnostic records by taking molds and pictures.
  • Creating treatment plans and educating parents and patients on findings.


We offer permanent positions – with a lot of opportunity for growth.

Full-time candidates normally work up to five (5) days per week: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualified Candidates Must:

  • Have 1-2 years of prior Orthodontic experience working with patients.
  • Be CPR certified.
  • Be Radiation Safety certified.
  • Be able to work Monday through Friday between 8:00AM and 5:00PM.
  • Be willing to work in any of our five (5) locations throughout the Charleston area. Candidates must be willing to travel between offices, as needed.
  • Be a team player; have a positive attitude and love working with children!
  • Be able to arrive at work on time each day they are scheduled and also must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Experience as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant is a plus, but is not required.
